Dominican Republic coach Marcos Kwiek spoke of his team’s good performance in the first week: “We played good and improved every match in the first week. I hope we will continue this form in Turkey.”

Giovanni Guidetti, coach of the German team, thanked the TVF for the organisation of the tournament and added: “We are not in great condition. We are here to improve our game. We did not play very well in Korea. We are hoping to be better day by day.

Serbia coach Zoran Terzic commented that his team will be happy if they get the same result as last week and captain Maja Ognjenovic added: “We are happy to be in Turkey again. We are happy to play against strong teams like Turkey, Germany and the Dominican Republic. We had a good week last week. I hope we will continue to get good results in Turkey.”

Turkish national team coach Massimo Barbolini stressed the importance of the fans for his team: “We are happy to play in front of our fans two weeks in a row. They helped us a lot last week. We did a great job but last week is gone. It will be very hard to continue winning all games. In the World Grand Prix, all the matches are difficult. We will try to do our best for sure.”
