Qatar
In the big final, Qatar defeated Iran after 0-2 in sets for the opponents. They made a historical success for their country by winning the first and only medal at this competition. On the other side, Iran did not defend the title from the last year. This match was finished after five very interesting sets.
In the match for the third place after so many “ups and downs”, Japan outplayed the hosts in the tie-break although Chinese Taipei led 2-0 in sets.
The same result happened in the match for the fifth place when Australia led 2-0 and at the end, Thailand won 3-2.
Kazakhstan without many problems closed the match with South Korea.

For 5th place: Australia – Thailand 2-3 (25-21, 27-25, 16-25, 17-25, 5-15)
For 3rd place: Japan – Chinese Taipei 3-2 (21-25, 20-25, 32-30, 29-27, 17-15)
Final: Iran – Qatar 2-3 (25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 18-25, 10-15)
