The Slovenian Majda Leban Čičić has been named as new head coach or Iranian women’s national team.
“I am very happy to be here. It’s the first time I am in Asia. I want to help the Iranian girls develop, that’s why I am here. I believe that to book a place in the Olympics is not impossible for the Iranian women team since we are trying for one goal. I have big goals in Iran and I believe that the Iranian girls can learn volleyball such as European girls. I’ve worked at grassroots level for 10 years,” says Slovenian coach.
