Agel Prostejov beat Rabita in five sets and it was huge surprise!
“After our 0:3 losses in this year’s Champions League we wanted to show our fans that we are able to play a really tight game even against the immensely strong rivals in our pool, which we finally confirmed by tonight’s result. Of course, the win was beyond our expectations, but we made it due to our all-round excellent performance and due to our outstanding serving and blocking. Tonight I have to praise the whole team, all girls did a fantastic job,” said happy Miroslav Cada, head coach of Agel.
“Our opponent played some great volleyball tonight. We did not play the game we were expected to show because we could not step up due to too many unforced errors. And the price is high when you make too many mistakes; that is the reason why we lost. To sum up, our performance was not good, so Agel deserved to take the credit for their game,” acknowledged sad, but sincere Dejan Brdjovic, head coach of Rabita.
