The American opposite hitter Danielle Cuttino is on the radar of Brazil’s women’s volleyball club Itambé/Minas for the 2020/21 season.

The American Cuttino became the option for Minas for the opposite hitter position after the South American club champions failed to reach an agreement with the Pole Smarzek and Cuttino’s compatriot Drews. The 23-year-old player defended the colors of Italy’s Èpiù Pomì Casalmaggiore in the last two seasons. This season, she was the 15th highest scorer of the league with 255 points.

Her quality didn’t remain unnoticed by the U.S. National Team head coach Karch Kiraly who summoned her to compete in the final stage of the 2019 Volleyball Nations League but she was crossed off the list because of the injury.
