It was a great performance of Cuban Kenia Carcases (16 points) and Ivna (15), so Molico/Osasco, after winning an away match last Monday with the same result, defeated São Cristóvão Saúde/São Caetano again.

The first set began with the home team dictating the pace with huge help from the crowd. After a first technical time-out it was 8-5. Carcases, expanded Molico/Osasco’s lead (11-5). With Juma and Sabrina in court, São Caetano reduced the score (22-17), but after 26 minutes, Molico/Osasco closed the first period (25-18).

São Caetano started the second set by winning two points, but the hosts turned the score (6-3). Osasco’s advantage continued to grow (13-9 and 20-12). Taking advantage of the mistakes made by São Caetano players, Osasco closed this period (25-14).

The third set went with Osasco dominating and, after the ace of Thaisa, came to the ninth point (9-5). São Caetano managed to tie the score through an attack of Thaisinha (10-10). Osasco regained control of the match and placed four point lead after a block by Thaisa (17-13). Carrying by the noisy fans, the home team finished duel with an attack from Adenizia (25-19).
