Renan
Renan Buiatti is a 27-year old opposite who had quite an extraordinary volleyball journey in the past couple of years. In 2014 he decided to leave Brazil and to try himself in one of the best leagues in Europe – Italian Serie A1.
He stayed two seasons there, playing for Ravenna and Monza, while last summer he came back to Brazil and signed a contract with UFJF, the club who has never played in the Playoffs of the Brazilian Championship!
Still with Renan on their side, UFJF have become quite a hit of the Brazilian Championship, as they are currently the 6th placed team on the standings. At the same time, Renan Buiatti is currently the top scorer of the league!
Therefore, the new head coach of Brazil men’s national team Renan Dal Zotto is seriously considering to call Renan Buiatti and give him a chance to play among the Olympic champions.
