As Taubaté supervisor Ricardo Navajas stated for Globo Esporte, a rumor that Taubaté aim for the veteran opposite Leandro Vissotto to replace Wallace Souza turned to be true: „We are negotiating. Only that. There’s nothing concrete yet.“
Facundo Conte, the 2016 Rio Olympics participant in the jersey of Argentina national team, is close to Taubaté as well! Navajas confirmed the interest of the São Paulo team in an outside hitter, currently competing for the title in China with Shanghai, but emphasized the negotiations with him are still on.
