In a decisive Game 5 of the 2017/18 NB I playoff semifinals, and most dramatic in the series, the defending champions and also No.3 Fino Kaposvár prevailed over No.2 HÉP-Kecskemét in the tie-break, partially 26-24, 17-25, 25-21, 20-25, 16-14.
Thus, Kaposvár won the series by a 3-2 and will face an undefeated team in the league, the top-seed Vegyész RC-Kazincbarcika (23-0 record including both regular season and playoffs), in the finals.
Péter Nagy topped Kaposvár in today’s game with 31 points. Zoltán Kovács scored 21 points for the losing side.
