Once again, Vasas Óbuda Budapest from Hungary recorded a straight-set win over Partizani Tirana, this time in the rematch in Albania, in the 3rd Round of the 2020 CEV Champions League and qualified for the group stage: 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-16).

Given that winning two sets made the job done for his team, Vasas head coach Jakub Głuszak changed the entire line-up in the third set but these girls were also on a high level. Slovakian Mária Kostelanská top-scored for Vasas with 13 points. Turkish Yeliz Başa made 14 for Partizani. As a result of the drawing of lots, the Hungarian team will compete in Pool D.

Ukrainian Khimik Yuzhny was the other team to secure a spot in the group stage of the 2020 CEV Champions League after the 3rd Round.
