Pool D of the qualifications (1st Round) for the 2021 men’s Champions League was one of the three remained tournaments that were to set off the competition following the start of Euro-season with the games in pools A, B, and C.
Yesterday, the hosts of Pool D in Bleiburg, Austria’s SK Zadruga Aich/Dob defeated Bulgaria’s Neftochimic Burgas (3-1). Today, Russia’s Dinamo Moscow inflicted the second defeat in the tournament to Neftochimic: 3-1 (25-21, 32-30, 21-25, 25-22). Tsvetan Sokolov had no mercy on his countrymen, pouring in 23 points. Ilya Vlasov made 4 blocks. Miroslav Gradinarov scored 15 points for the losing side.
