A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano are the first finalists of the 2021 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League.

A. Carraro Imoco Conegliano gave no chance to the titleholders Igor Gorgonzola Novara in the rematch of the all-Italian semifinals of the 2021 Women’s Champions League.

After the 3-0 win in the 1st leg, Imoco took two sets, which they needed to qualify for the Super Final in Verona (May 1), in less than an hour. The team commanded by Daniele Santarelli closed the match in straight sets: 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-20). American McKenzie Adams tallied 16 points for Imoco, while Sarah Fahr set up 4 blocks and American Kimberly Hill made 77 % reception (13 digs, 38 % excellent).

The opponents of the ‘Panthers’ in the gold medal encounter will come out of tomorrow’s rematch between another Italian club, Unet e-work Busto Arsizio, and Turkey’s VakıfBank İstanbul (3-2 in the 1st leg).
