After a lot of emotions and twists, there was a happy ending for Developres Rzeszów after the match against Lokomotiv Kaliningrad Region in Round 3 of the 2022 CEV Women’s Volleyball Champions League.

During the weekend, Developres took the lead in the Polish TAURON Liga, which obviously instilled them extra confidence thanks to which they overpowered undefeated (until today) Lokomotiv in Round 3 of the CEV Champions League Volley 2022 | Women. The Russian side leads Superliga Parimatch and won all 20 matches counting all competitions since the beginning of the season and was the favorite in the encounter which they lost 2-3 and after which they gave away top spot in Pool A to the Rzeszów club, who is at 3-0 (seven points). Brazilian Bruna Honório top-scored Developres with 25 points.
Turkey’s THY İstanbul (Pool C) recorded their first win in the competition, while Russia’s Dinamo Ak-Bars Kazan (Pool D) and Italy’s Vero Volley Monza (Pool B) swept their respective rivals to reach 2-1 each.
