Following a 3-1 victory in the first leg, the Berlin team showcased exceptional skill to dominate the second match with scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-22. Their upcoming challenge will be facing Itas Trentino, the leading team in the Italian league, with the quarterfinal’s first match set for February 21 at the Max-Schmeling-Halle.
The match against Tours VB saw the BR Volleys delivering a strong performance from the start. Berlin soon took control, outplaying the French champions. Marek Sotola, named match MVP, led the scoring with 11 points, showcasing an impressive 79% attack rate.
