CEV Volleyball Cup W: Wins for Türk Hava Yolları, Alba Blaj, Tenerife and Kuzeyboru

Türk Hava Yolları secured a crucial 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-16) away win against Montenegro’s OK Herceg Novi in the first leg of the CEV Cup Round of 32. The return leg is set for November 13 in Istanbul, where Türk Hava Yolları will need to win at least two sets or achieve any victory to progress.

Kuzeyboru also gained an advantage by defeating Croatia’s OK Dinamo Zagreb 3-1 (25-15, 27-29, 25-12, 25-16) at home. The second leg will be played in Croatia on November 12, with Kuzeyboru requiring a similar set win or victory to advance.

Meanwhile, Spain’s Tenerife Libby’s LA LAGUNA overcame Hungary’s KAPOSVÁRI NRC 3-1 (25-15, 25-16, 16-25, 25-19) in the first leg of the 16th Finals, showcasing strong home support ahead of the second leg on November 13.

Lastly, Romania’s Volley Alba Blay defeated North Macedonia’s Rabotnicki Skopje 3-0 to cap off a day of European volleyball action.
