Belogorie from Russia swept Turkish Ziraat at home in the 1st leg of the 2018 CEV Cup and now needs to claim only two sets in the rematch (April 10) to win the tournament for the second time in the club history, 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-14).
The fact they allowed rivals to score only 7 points in the first set, while the remained 6 points were a result of errors of Belogorie players, shows how much the Russian side was dominant today.
Dmitriy Muserskiy topped Belogorie with 18 points and by making an outstanding hitting percentage (84%, 16/19)! There were no players with double digits in Ziraat, whose key players failed in the attack: the Pole Bartosz Kurek made 36%, his compatriot Dawid Konarski 29%, and Italian Oleg Antonov only 20%.
