Participants of the Final Four tournament of the Champions League 2018 had an interesting Friday.

The Final Four of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women to be held this weekend in Bucharest is accompanied by exciting side events, which further increase the appeal of what is already a much anticipated high-level tournament, which will crown the best club team on the continent.

As part of CEV’s Green Way campaign, in the park in front of the competition hall, Sala Polivalenta, some of the big Volleyball stars representing the participating teams helped plant trees, reinforcing the message of sustainability and corporate social responsibility – to protect our planet Earth.

“I know how to do this. I have done it many times before where I come from,” said Galatasaray SK ISTANBUL’s Bulgarian outside hitter Dobriana Rabadzhieva. “I hope my tree survives and I can come back here 10 years from now and see how it has grown.”
