The Philippines has been officially announced as the host nation for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, set to run from September 12 to 28.
This event will gather the globe’s top 32 teams in a competition for the ultimate title in men’s volleyball.
Winning the bid against strong global competition, the Philippines was praised for its commitment to volleyball development and its plan to ensure the event’s growth. FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça emphasized the championship’s potential to inspire athletes and boost sport participation in the region. Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor highlighted the Philippines’ passion for volleyball and its history of successfully hosting significant events as key factors in the decision.
