In the second semifinal of the day, Rexona of coach Bernardo Rezendedefeated Volero Zurich 3-1 (25-13, 25-16, 21-25, 26-24) and took the spot in the final.
This will be their second time in the history that they will play in the final of this competition. Maybe this year they will be luckier. In 2013 they fought for the gold against Vakifbank, and they lost 3-0.
Today Gabi Braga Guimaraes was top scorer of the winning team with 17 points while Kenia Carcaces scored 18 for Volero.
