After beating USA in the first round, the Chinese girls prevailed over Brazil as well in a five-set game 3-2 (25-20, 25-12, 20-25, 23-25, 19-17).
It was a very uncertain game, China were close to dropping 2-0 lead but they somehow managed to win the extended tie-break.
Zhu Ting once again had a great display, scoring 33 points to lead her team to the new victory. Yuan Xinyue added 15 points.
On the other side, Tandara was the best scorer with 23 points while Gabriela Guimaraes finished the match with 18 points.
