Sophie Peron decided to end her career as a professional volleyball player. RC CANNES' libero has chose a new challenge: teaching English. At 24 Sophie decided to end her professional sport's career which began in Callais in 2005. She finished it in CANNES with Ligue AF title and the Cup.

At 24 Sophie decided to end her professional sport’s career which began in Callais in 2005. She finished it in CANNES with Ligue AF title and the Cup.

It is a turning the page for me, maybe a bit early, but I have no regrets. I will never forget that dream I had as a girl, and I got the chance to live it here, I won two times the league and the cupSophie said.

Volleyball will always have a place in my heart and the team I got to know so closely. It is with great emotion that I say goodbye. I thank my family and especially my father, without whom I would not have experienced the highest level” she finished.

Now it is time for a whole new challenge, that of an English teacher, that Sophie Peron should conquer. “Yes, she Cannes!
