Four days after the announcement of his alleged assault on a “French Railway Company” agent at the Montparnasse station in Paris, Ngapeth published a statement via his Twitter account emphasizing that he has never laid hands on anyone.

The MVP of the 2015 World League’s Final Six, who came out from the police station on Thursday night and will have a second hearing in autumn, said that the version of events reported in the media is far from reality.

“This has, unfortunately, led to articles in the media and tendentious judgments, especially on social networks, which caused harm to me. I have never beaten anyone,” Ngapeth stated.

He denied that he asked the controller to stop the train. Thus, he said that he didn’t hit the railway employee.

Ngapeth, who was already sentenced to three months suspended imprisonment by the Criminal Court of Montpellier for fighting at a nightclub in August 2013, also said that he has a confidence in the justice of his country.

French receiver will appear in the criminal court in November and he will be tried for acts of violence on a railway agent and obstruction of movement of a train.
