Haching needed 1 million Euros to fill the hole in budget after main sponsor Generali Insurance left the club. However, every attempt was without success.
Club practically seized to exist, but will still have some Youth categories which will compete in region competitions.
German Volleyball Federation decided that no one will replace Haching in the Bundesliga in the next season.
