Berlin Recycling Volleys had a hard time winning the game against TV Rottenburg in front of 2000 spectators in the Paul Horn-Arena. The hosts won the first set, and two more were decided by two points.
“We gave our best against Berlin. They knew that they could lose here” Hans Peter Muller-Angstenberger said.
Mark Lebedew was releived after the game: “We were fortunate today to win this game.“
Rottenburg even had set balls which could lead them to the tie-break, but Berlin managed to win in the game before the winter break.
