An experienced technician spoke about the new page in his career, explaining how he had accepted the proposal of the Federation – “It was not something that was in my mind. I had never thought of it. My first reaction was therefore a bit cautious. After they gave me all the info about the position, I got increasingly more interesting. It is a job that can give some results over time, certainly not immediately.“
Asked if the change from male to female volleyball will be difficult, he replied: “I don’t know, but I can’t see a big difference for now. Everyone tells me it’s different, but I see it as a volleyball. The same sport it is.“
“It is a big difference being in a club than in a national team. Not working at full pace, but then you can work more quiet. No pressure, not give exams every Wednesday-Saturday. I am not afraid of the pressure, but it will definitely be different.“
About the reasons he said ‘yes‘ to the new challenge, he said: “Based on information I’ve gathered, there is much good material to do something good. I hope it will take two years for us to show what we’ve accomplished.”
