Round 14 of the 2019/20 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season, the first one this year, that was played last night was marked by the new competition record in aces. It was set by Micha Hancock, an American setter from Igor Gorgonzola Novara. She scored 10 points from the service, improving an all-time record of one of the strongest championships in the world by one ace!

The previous record was jointly held by 2 players – Hancock’s compatriot Hayley Spelman (Zeta System Urbino Volley) in the 2014/15 and Valentina Zago (Èpiù Pomì Casalmaggiore) in the 2011/12.
