Magdalena Stysiak, one of the highlights of the 2020/21 Italian Women’s Volleyball Championship, will be sidelined for a rather long time.

Savino Del Bene Scandicci announced that their best scorer in the ongoing season, Stysiak, has suffered an injury to her right hand.

The diagnosis excluded the participation of the Polish player in the next several matches. Some media in Italy speculate that the opposite hitter will be sidelined for three weeks in which Scandicci have a very tight schedule (seven games in January) to compensate for a one-month absence from playing due to coronavirus.
