Trentino – Piacenza
Trento started with a lead 2:0 but PIACENZA came back and was leading 9:11. Radostin Stoytchev called the first time out, but that didn’t help as Copra increased its lead (14-16, 15-19), then taking a firm grip and didn’t allow the hosts to come back 20:25. Kaziyski had 25%, Stokr 29%, Juantorena with 33%.
Trento was still dazed in the second set and PIACENZA went up 0:2. After that Trentino scored five points 5:3, and was leading on both tehnicaal time outs (8:5, 16:9). Soon it went to 23-10 and the host finished the set 25:11.
Trentino started strong in the third 3:0, PIACENZA got close 5:4. Then it was Trento‘s time to step up, on the second tehnical time out it was a ten point lead 16:6. PIACENZA managed to reduce the difference to five points 20-15 but it was all. The host won this part 25:19 and took the lead in sets 2:1.
The first part of the fourth set reminded of the third, Trento went ahead to 17:9. When it seemed that the host will have an easy job, PIACENZA came to 21-18. Kaziyski didn’t allow them to make a full come back and scored his 22nd and 23rd point, Copra made two errors and it was 25:20.
