In a four-set victory, Numia Vero Volley Milano triumphed over Bartoccini-Mc Restauri Perugia in the sixth round of Serie A1 Tigotà at PalaBarton. Milano won 3-1, conceding only the third set to their opponents.
Milano took control in the first set after a tight 16-15 score, closing at 0-1. The second set was more straightforward, with Milano dominating throughout. Perugia fought back in the third set, led by Beatrice Gardini’s impressive 20 points, forcing a hard-fought battle. Despite this, Milano sealed the win in the fourth set, avoiding a tie-break.
Alessia Orro shone as the top player of the night, supported by Hena Kurtagic’s 15 points (including 6 blocks) and Myriam Sylla’s 17 points.
