In an openning match of the SuperLega Credem Banca 6th round, Valsa Group Modena narrowly defeated Rana Verona with a score of 3-2 (22-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-21, 15-12). Despite an impressive performance from Noumory Keita of Rana Verona, who scored a game-high 31 points, Modena managed to secure the win after five intense sets.
Rana Verona’s top scorer, Keita, who had been honored pre-game as October’s Credem Banca MVP, led his team with powerful plays. His teammate, Dzavoronok, also contributed 16 points, and Cortesia added 12. For Modena, Rinaldi stood out with 22 points, Buchegger followed with 18, and Anzani made a strong impact with 16 points, helping to drive the team to a close victory.
