Born in the Havana, Cuba, the spiker has the Spanish passport and has been a regular starter for the Spanish national team for years. He won no less than four European Leagues. Sergio began his career at Elche, Spain, where he stayed five years before coming to Italy with Santa Croce in the A2, where he won the Italian Cup A2. Città di Castello and Latina were his next stops.
