Maren Brinker
Born in Leverkusen in 1986, Brinker was scouted for a long time by the club from the outskirts of Milan, and already spent one season in Italy playing last year for the likes of Scavolini PESARO. Brinker is regularly included in the starting six of Germany’s national team and finished second at last year’s European Championship in Beograd playing there as outside hitter.
Last year Brinker scored a total of 280 points in the national league, with a 36.9% of efficiency that evidently drew the attention of many competitors.
