Since Polish Volleyball Federation does everything it can to integrate Wilfredo León into national team, Juantorena was asked to share his thoughts about that after Skra – Lube match.
„If his dream is to play for Poland, then I hold fingers crossed for him to make this dream come true as mine came true to appear with the Italian national team. Not only that I finally became part of roster, but I will fulfill my desire to play at the Olympics. What more could I want? For Cubans, it is not a comfortable situation because we can not compete in our own country at the level we would like. We are not guilty ones for this state of things, so we have to look for other solutions,“ Lube’s outside hitter stated.
