Serbian middle blocker Jovana Stevanović, who was brilliant at the Final Four of 2016 CEV Champions League where her team Pomì Casalmaggiore took the trophy, will probably remain in Italian team.
Thus, Casalmaggiore resisted tempting offers, mostly from Turkey. Namely, Eczacıbaşı VitrA İstanbul, the team which Casalmaggiore inherited at the throne of the Champions Leage, was the most persistant to hire Serbian.
