Since then, Diatec Trentino were the third 2013, fifth 2014 and last year they didn’t participate. Yesterday, they won the bronze medal after 3-2 win over Bolivar.
“It’s a very important result for us, because sometimes our history can become a problem. The last two days we couldn’t play as freely as we would have liked to. It was a problem, but we could finish with this medal. We are third just behind Cruzeiro and Kazan, the two best teams of the world; although we know against Kazan we can do it better” said Angelo Lorenzetti, Diatec Trentino coach.
