Perugia got defeated by Trentino in Game 3 of the Serie A1 Semi-Finals and they are now down by 1-2 in the series. On top of that, the way they suffered defeat in PalaTrento on Sunday evening was pretty painful.
Perugia were up by 22:19 in the 1st set and by 23:19 in the 2nd set… They lost both sets!
“Trentino have once again showed their ability to fight until the last point. On the other side, we might have started celebrating too soon in the 1st and 2nd sets and we paid high price for that attitude. We have wasted a great opportunity,” said Perugia head coach Lorenzo Bernardi after Game 3.
