Unlike a five-setter from six days ago, this time No.1 Perugia emerged as winners against No.4 Trentino in Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the 2017/18 SuperLega semifinals. Partially, Perugia won by a 25-27, 25-13, 21-25, 25-17, 15-13.
Ivan Zaytsev closed the game with a diagonal spike for 15-13, but before that, Trentino broke down at 11-11, when Aaron Russell made a kill and Uroš Kovačević hit out of bounds.
The Serbian Aleksandar Atanasijević scored 23 points, including 5 kill blocks, for Perugia, while Filippo Lanza scored 19 points for Trentino.
Game 4, which may be the last in the series in case Perugia win it, is scheduled for April 15.

The serbian choke almost choke again. We are keeping a choker and kicking out a real gem in Zaytsev. Let’s all pray Leon could do this all night for Perugia while also carrying another choker Lanza on his shoulders. SAD!
