Lube vs. Perugia
The entire 2017/18 SuperLega will be packed in one and only game, Game 5 of the playoff finals.
The second-seed Lube tied one of the most exciting SuperLega playoff finals in recent years against No.1 Perugia at 2-2, so Game 5 will decide on the new titleholders. Or maybe, on the old ones.
Perugia showed once again how vulnerable they are when playing this season’s playoff games on the road as they suffered the fifth defeat – 3-1 (25-19, 24-26, 25-19, 25-20).
Osmany Juantorena topped Lube with 25 points. The Serbian Aleksandar Atanasijević scored 20 points for Perugia.
The championship game is scheduled for May 6.
