During the weekend, 10 matches of the 23rd and 24th rounds of the Japanese Men’s Championship were played.
Two hit matches and two surprises marked this volleyball weekend in the Japanese men’s volleyball championship. JTEKT Stings of Tine Urnaut beat the current leader WolfDogs Nagoya of Bartosz Kurek with clear 3-0 in two matches, while the current champions Suntory Sunbirds of Dmitry Muserskiy celebrated in the first match 3-1 , while in the second match they lost in a tie-break against Toray Arrows of Krisztián Pádár.
All other matches ended as expected and without further surprises.
