Japan Men’s V.League: Kubiak led Panthers to the 12th win

Panasonic Panthers are still on the top of the Japanese Men’s volleyball league after 12 rounds.

In the new match they won thanks to Michal Kubiak who scored 21 points but this match was incredible. Sakai led 2-0 and after five sets Panthers won 3-2. Shunsuke Chijiki from Sakai was the top scorer with 25 points (2 bl) followed by Martin Wallace who scored 21 points (1bl, 1 ac).

In the new defeat of FC Tokyo Milan Pepić scored 32 (2 bl). They suffere defeat from JTEKT who were led by Matey Kaziyski 38 (2 bl, 2ac).

JT Thunders of Thomas Edgar 30 (2 bl, 1 ac) led 2-0 against Toray, but at the end team of Gavin Schmitt 28 (2 bl, 1 ac) won 3-2.

Yadrian Escobar 15 (2 bl) and Suntory scored the 6th win but the second in row. They defeated Gosi who played without Igor Omrčen.

FC Tokyo – JTEKT 1-3 (19-25, 25-21, 18-25, 20-25)

Toray Arrows – JT Thunders 3-2 (25-27, 19-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-12)

Gosei Trefuerza – Suntory Sunbirds 0-3 (19-25, 24-26, 15-25)

Panasonic Panthers – Sakai Blazers 3-2 (19-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-12, 15-13)
