The court was pronounced in good condition following the preliminary inspection made by the Control Committee members as they also did with the medical and referees rooms, the working press area as well locker rooms and the FIVB working area.
“There are some details that need to be completed but I am pretty sure everything will be ready on Wednesday,” said Peruvian Juan Castro, in charge of the Mexicali venue. “After all the banners are posted the Auditorium will look at its best.”
On Tuesday morning, the Control Committee in Mexicali concluded the preliminary inquiry of teams Chile, Japan and South Korea. Still pending to pass this first inspection in Mexicali are the teams of Brazil, Algeria and Turkey while in Tijuana still to being inspected are Rwanda and Poland.
