FRIENDLIES W: Poland better than Slovenia, Greece again outplayed Romania

Third friendly matches were played between Poland and Slovenia and Greece and Romania.

Poland won the third control match against Slovenia with 4:1 (27:25, 25:19, 14:25, 25:18, 25:18) although coaches arranged that teams will play five sets to 25. Malwina Smarzek again was the best with 24 points.

This time Jacek Nawrocki managed to check the new players and tomorrow, on Monday, the Polish national team will go to the Czech Republic, where they will compete in two official matches with the local Czech National team. 

Poland: Nowicka, Kąkolewska, Grajber, Smarzek, Damaske, Jasek, Stenzel (L), Łukasik J., Łukasik M., Murek, Twardowska, Wołodko, Łysiak (L).

Slovenia: Mori, Grudina, Vovk, Mlakar, Sobocan, Planinsec, Pahor (L), Zvodc Sporer, Blazic, Najdic, Bracko, Mikl (L).

In the third match, Greece again scored a victory over Romania. Today the result was 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 26-24). Maria Oikonomidou was the top scorer of the Greek team with 15 points followed by Olga Strantzali who scored 11 points but Ioana Maria Baciu also scored 15 points for Romania.
