It’s Kathleen Weiss, a two-time European vice-champion with the national team of Germany. The experienced setter has signed a one-year contract.
She has already joined the team from Bulgaria.
Throughout her career, she played in Germany, Poland, Italy, Azerbaijan, the Netherlands. Also, she has won many trophies, especially at the club’s level.
Maritza Plovdiv will play in Pool B, along with Vakifbank, Beziers and winner of the third round of the qualifications.
