Hisamitsu Springs took the win in the final of Empress Cup, defeating Toyota Auto Body in four sets 35-33, 20-25, 25-23, 26–24. Foluke Akiradewo ended the game with 24 points, while Neriman Oszoy added 29 points in Toyota.
JT Thunders won Emperors Cup by beating Toray in straight sets 26-24, 25-22, 25-23. The top scorer was Thomas Edgar with 25 points, while Antonin Rouzier scored 19 points on the other side.
In the semifinals, Panasonic Panthers lost the game and unfortunately lost Michal Kubiak, who suffered an injury and will be sidelined at least for two weeks.
