The best scorer of the match was Nakamura Ayumi with 15 points. The Swiss girls faced difficulties to catch up their opponents and failed in the first set 25-20. The fast game and the numerous kills from their rivals made the second set even tougher for Svetlena Ilic’s team. Adding to this, the increasing number of direct errors – 12 at the end of this set compared to 5 for Japan– brought the Swiss to the score 25-15. We saw a Swiss team losing hope and energy during the last set which finished at 25-14. The Montreux Volley Masters is over for Switzerland, who finished joint 7th with Germany.
