WCHQ M: Rwanda upset Cameroon

Rwanda surprised host Cameroon 3-1 (25-20, 25-20, 22-25, 25-17) in the second day of the African qualifying tournament Pool T for the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship held at Palais des Sports in Yaoundé on Friday.



The match was  Rwanda`s first victory in the tournament, after losing against Algeria in straight sets on the opening day, giving them a 1-1 record. Cameroon, which also won their first match against Nigeria, records 1-1 in the qualifiers.

Nigeria flew past Gabon 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-11, 25-16) in the day’s first match to improve to 1-1, while the losers started their matches with 0-1.
