Stav Jacobi, President of Volero Zurich, revealed for sport-express.ru that the second wild card for the Women’s Club World Championship will go to a non-European team.

In the history of this competition there has never been a rule that guarantees place for the reigning champion. So, it is not that big surprise that Dinamo Kazan will not get a wild card. Perhaps, the second invitation will go to some club from the South America… But, the decision has not been made yet. In any case, the second wild card will not go to a non-European club. Three teams for Europe are quite enough” said Jacobi for sport-express.ru.

Recall that so far we know 4 participants of the Women’s Club World Championship. Those are Volero Zurich (Switzerland, the host), Rexona (Brazil), Hisamitsu Springs (Japan) and Dinamo Krasnodar (Russia, wild card).
