The 12 participating teams are ready to enter the stage and enjoy their appearance in a tournament they will never forget. Their respective coaches are also looking forward to a great and exciting preliminary round.
Salih Erdogan Tavaci, coach of Turkey, said: “We started to build this team last June and have played six friendly matches against Belgium and France before. I think my team is ready to compete here. At least we want to reach the semis. As our president said, this team is being prepared for the Olympic Games in 2020.”
