Canada vs. Cuba
Gavin Schmitt was the top scorer with 19, while Gordon Perrin ended up with 12 points and after the game he was very satisfied with two wins!
“It feels good. Usually when we get back we’re a little rusty because we haven’t practised a lot. The first games are sometimes played on the fly. It’s good to get two 3-0 wins, because that’s not what usually happens in the first leg of World League – usually you split because both teams are a little rusty. But we escaped with two big wins and it’s starting to come together” says Perrin.
At the very end of May, Canada travels to Bulgaria where they will try to surprise home team.
