Matt Rawson
Matt Rawson and his team of USA won the competition in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic). A tournament in which they faced the top-ranked teams in the Caribbean and South America, Central and North (NORCECA) and is a qualifier for the World League and the Copa America. After finishing first in their group composed of Mexico (3:0), Brazil (3:1) and Venezuela (3:0), the United States then won against the Dominican Republic in the semifinals (3:2 ) before being better than Argentina in the final (29:27, 25:20, 25:11).
This is the fifth Pan American Cup for the USA which will now try to defend their Olympic title.
